In this post we will learn more details about how this company worked, what its supposed ideals and objectives were. Know a little more about the history of its founder and better understand how BWA Brasil worked.

What is BWA?

BWA is a company that claimed to invest in Bitcoin and guaranteed income and gains that could reach up to 1% per day. However, as we all know, money is variable, as is the case with bitcoin, and it is not guaranteed because it depends on several factors for its values to be established, suffering highs and lows constantly.

There are several companies operating in this area, such as BWA, which wins by the number of people registered and not by the investments made. This practice is considered, in most cases, a financial pyramid scheme.

Therefore, if you have any investment in these companies, rescue as soon as possible so that you do not fall victim to future scams and do not run the risk of losing your invested capital.

History of BWA Brasil

It is believed that the company BWA Brasil was created in the middle of the year 2017 by businessman Paulo Roberto Ramos Bilibio, a man who became very popular after being kidnapped by civil police.

Paulo Bilibio, at the time of this occurrence, was known for selling products from the supposed financial pyramid called BBOM (Embrasystem Tecnologia em Sistemas, Importação e Exportação LTDA). There are indications that this company has laundered money from the First Capital Command (PCC) faction.

In 2020, there was a reduction in the company's movement and it stopped paying its investors and filed for bankruptcy in the São Paulo Justice, which was granted in July of the same year. The justification given by BWA to stop paying its investors was the COVID-19 pandemic that would have affected its activities and consequently its profits.

Who created the BWA?

As previously stated, the company BWA Brasil was created in 2017 by businessman Paulo Roberto Ramos Bilibio, and the company has always offered services in the cryptocurrency market, promising its investors fixed monthly returns of up to 1% per day. It is worth mentioning that this promised value is high, even in the cryptocurrency market. BWA, as we have seen, has failed to pay its investors since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

After some time, after many processes and complaints running in the name of the company BWA Brasil, she tried to persuade the 2nd Bankruptcy and Judicial Reorganizations Court of the state of São Paulo, and stated that the debt she had with her investors was only R $ 449 thousand and not R $ 300 million.

Faced with this, Judge Marcelo Barbosa Sacramone, observed that this could be a legal action characterized as an attempted fraud and / or coup.

BWA Brasil, a company that operated in Santos in the state of São Paulo, simulated an investment bank for large contributions, with the promise of fixed monthly returns between 1% and 5,2% for its investors, through some types of cryptocurrencies .

It is worth remembering that at the time two companies with practically the same name were opened: BWA and BWA Brasil, but had different CNPJ.

We can see that Paulo Bilibio has a very dark past, but today he lives comfortably in the United States while his company owes millions to its associates and is in danger of being evicted from its headquarters in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo.

BWA Brasil how did it work?

According to various complaints and denunciations against BWA Brasil, the company always went in search of people with high purchasing power and wealth, some even considered rich close to the Brazilian standard, to offer investments in bitcoins. Promising higher yields than any other type of financial investment, reaching 54% in one year.

To give the company greater credibility, the partners chose to hire professionals with experience in the financial market, as they already had customer portfolios.

Managers of traditional banks and digital banks were hired, such as:

  • Itaú Personality
  • crop
  • Santander
  • Van Gogh
  • XP Investimentos and others

The company was little publicized in the market and on its official website there was not much information about its operation. We didn't find any rules or anything that would better explain the investment in cryptocurrencies.

The only information contained on the site was a telephone number, as it is believed that the site was aimed only at a select group of people, mainly wealthy residents of the Baixada Santista.

In order to guarantee the selectivity of the guests, the company did not accept contributions with amounts less than R $ 30 thousand, which is considered an extremely high value.

The big problem is that most people applied balances much larger than the minimum. There are even reports of investments with values between R $ 1,6 million and R $ 2,4 million!

The company was able to convince not only wealthy and powerful entrepreneurs, but also retirees that they even sold their rental properties to make greater gains with the cryptocurrency investment company.

Conclusion

Companies that promise a lot of profits in a short time, investing a lot and earning even more, are usually considered fraudulent ways of making money. Be very careful with companies that promise high financial gains in a short time.

In this case, the best thing to do is not to invest in the scheme. If you have already invested, redeem your funds as soon as possible, as one time or another these companies will fall under investigation and you will be subject to losing all the money invested.
