The biggest seizure of cryptocurrencies in Brazil so far took place at the home of the inventor of GAS Consultoria.
The suspicion is a financial pyramid crime.

The PF announced early Wednesday evening (25) the partial lifting of 'Operation Kryptos'.
The operation began in the morning in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Ceará and the Federal District and resulted in the seizure of several bitcoins and bags of money.
Glaidson Acácio dos Santos was one of the targets of arrest and search and seizure.
He is the owner of GÁS Consultoria, investigated due to complaints from CVM and MP.
According to the Federal Police, fifteen warrants were carried out and five suspects are under arrest.
Three of them were found in RJ and the other two at Guarulhos airport in SP, this was due to the support of Federal Revenue agents.
Along with the suspects were several suitcases with money and 591 bitcoins, considering today's quote would reach a value of R$ 150 million.
This is the biggest seizure of cryptocurrencies in Brazilian history to date.
In addition, federal agents confiscated twenty-one luxury cars, luxury watches, jewelry, cell phones, electronics, and documents that will still go to forensics.
The Federal Police had not yet finished counting all the cash until 19 pm on Wednesday, because it needed large equipment due to the large amount of bills.
At the end of the count, the PF's advisors announced the values:
"In addition to the balance sheet already disclosed, the PF informs that an additional R$ 13.825.091,00 was seized and 100 Pounds Sterling in cash. In addition to this, other amounts, in foreign currency, already deposited with the CEF, but not accounted for, were seized”.
Attorney Ana Paula Batti said that "Bitcoins will be made available to the criminal court for later compensation for victims."

The owner of GAS Consultoria, Glaidson Acácio dos Santos, was detained in the city of Itanhangá, located in the west side of RJ.
